Ministry Medical Group was formed in 1998, giving an official name to Ministry Health Care's long-standing tradition of building relationships with established clinics and medical groups. Today, more than 150 physicians and hundreds of nurses and other medical providers work together as Ministry Medical Group to bring compassionate and high quality care to communities throughout central and northern Wisconsin.
Ministry Health Care has a long history of building partnerships with physicians, clinics and medical groups — most of which have provided decades of health care to their communities. Now, whether we affiliate, collaborate or employ the physicians who join our team, Ministry Medical Group helps these health care practitioners to expand their reach, their facilities, and the number of people they touch every day.
Ministry Medical Group's many clinics and physician groups are also a vital part of other Ministry Health Care organizations. Integrating our knowledge, expertise and information remains key to our continued success.
Ministry Medical Group physicians are on staff at the following Ministry Health Care hospitals:
- Ministry Eagle River Memorial Hospital - Eagle River, WI
- Howard Young Medical Center - Woodruff, WI
- Ministry Sacred Heart Hospital - Tomahawk, WI
- Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital - Marshfield, WI
- Ministry Saint Mary's Hospital - Rhinelander, WI
- Ministry Saint Michael's Hospital - Stevens Point, WI
- Ministry Our Lady of Victory Hospital - Stanley, WI
The physician group creates a collaborative environment and referral network in which to provide quality health care to patients and families. In addition, these professional partnerships enhance clinical operations and community outreach efforts. Ministry Medical Group works with each hospital's physician liaison staff to recruit skilled, dedicated and compassionate medical professionals. The medical group and hospitals also work together to provide ongoing continuing education through seminars and conferences. In addition, members of Ministry Medical Group provide significant clinical feedback on and direction to Ministry Health Care strategic initiatives. They serve in leadership and participatory roles on committees including but not limited to organizational development, growth, web operations, patient services and service line marketing efforts.
