Emergency Services/Trauma

Ministry Health Care’s Emergency and Trauma Services provide 24-hour access to critical care for patients requiring treatment from bumps and bruises to major trauma at twelve locations across northern and central Wisconsin.

The Regional Trauma Center at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield is verified by the American College of Surgeons as a Level II Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center. This designation is given to select hospitals capable of ensuring 24-availability of surgeons, anesthesiologists, physician specialists and trauma nurses, plus immediate access to dedicated medical equipment and operating room facilities.
