Howard Young Foundation Receives $21,000 from Hospital Volunteers

(WOODRUFF, Wis.) – The Auxiliary of Howard Young Medical Center (AHYMC), through its fundraising efforts, donated $21,000 to the Howard Young Foundation Special Gift Initiative on Sept. 9. The donation will be directed towards the new Heart Care Center at Howard Young Medical Center, and also future emergency department and operating room projects.

Lakeland Rotary Donates Books to Howard Young Medical Center

(WOODRUFF, Wis.) – Parents of newborns delivered at Howard Young Medical Center (HYMC) in Woodruff will receive The Brain Game, a book whose mission is to educate and encourage new parents to read to their newborns. The books were generously donated by the Lakeland Rotary Club and the Minocqua Breakfast Club.

Babysitting Course Offered at MHLT

(WOODRUFF, Wis.) – Those ages 11 - 15 are invited to participate in a free babysitting course in Minocqua on Saturday, November 15, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The babysitting course is sponsored by the Auxiliary of Howard Young Medical Center.

Howard Young Medical Center to Host Annual Community Health and Wellness Fair

(WOODRUFF, Wis.) – Howard Young Medical Center (HYMC) and the Ministry Medical Group (MMG) clinic in Woodruff will be hosting the Third Annual Community Health and Wellness Fair on Thursday, August 7, from 4 - 7 p.m., inside the hospital located at 240 Maple Street. Health fair visitors are asked to park and enter on the north side of the building at the MMG clinic entrance.
