Woodruff, Wis. (May 19, 2015) –– By a unanimous vote, the medical staff of Howard Young Medical Center (HYMC) recently appointed Stephen E. Anich, MD, Marshfield Clinic Minocqua Center, emergency medicine, to the Honorary Medical Staff. Membership on the Honorary Medical Staff is intended as a mechanism for honoring those outstanding individuals who the medical staff feels significantly contributed to the improvement, reputation or services of the hospital and/or medical staff.

Leukemia is the diagnosis a Merrill family hears about their 7-year-old son, Wyatt Olivotti. An expecting mom from Woodruff, Lindsey Schoonover, learns her unborn little girl Leah Handrick, now 4-years-old, would be born with an opening in her spine.
